Fees and Rebates

Julie is available to see private clients, a 50- 60 minute session will cost $180, payable on the day through EFTPOS Debit or Credit Card.

Julie also accepts third party referrals including:

  • Medicare (Better Access Scheme)  You will first need to make an appointment with your GP for a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP).  If you meet the criteria your GP will then provide a referral for a psychologist. You will then be eligible to claim a rebate ($89.65) for your sessions. NOTE: Medicare does not provide rebates for couples or marriage therapy. Referrals under the Better Access to Mental Health Care initiative are for individuals with a diagnosed mental disorder and sessions are required to maintain a focus on the treatment of the individual.
  • Private Health Insurance. – Please check with your Insurance company for details of your eligibility.
  • TAC – you will need to provide a current Claim number at the first appointment.
  • WorkCover – you will need to provide a current Claim number and have approval from your caseworker for services to be invoiced to them.
  • DVA – You will need to provide your DVA number at the first appointment.

The practice has HICAPS facilities that will enable the rebate for Medicare or Private Health Insurance rebates to be processed at the time of payment.  Please bring your Medicare card or your Private Health Insurance Card with you  if you would like to take this option.
